A system for the production of high-quality compost

Proven environmental technology reduces operating and storage costs and transforms organic waste into sustainable resources.

EU-compliant

A complete hygienisation process in accordance with the EU compost regulation is guaranteed by permanent temperatures above 65 °C.

Eco-friendly

The reduction in emissions, groundwater contamination and disposal costs noticeably improves your carbon footprint.

Safe

The process reliably eliminates pathogens and fulfils the highest hygiene and safety standards thanks to permanent process monitoring.

Suitable for all categories of organic waste

The Eco Drum effectively prevents the spread of viruses and bacteria and provides reliable protection against insects, rats and mice – for maximum hygiene and safe storage conditions.

  • Animal dung
  • Slaughterhouse waste
  • Food waste
  • Feed residues
  • Harvest and plant residues
  • Garden waste

Waste reduction and raw material extraction combined

The volume of waste can be reduced by up to 85 %. This significantly reduces both disposal costs and environmental impact.

85%

Compared to static composting, the time required can be reduced by up to 85 %. This makes the process significantly more efficient.

95%

The need for space, machinery, labour and personnel for large-scale composting is reduced by up to 95% thanks to the system.

100%

The Eco Drum improves soil quality by up to 50 %, reduces water requirements by up to 66 % and thus significantly increases yields in the long term.

How modern in-vessel composting works

Automated control, precise aeration and continuous rotation transform organic waste into high-quality compost.

Filling and set-up

Organic waste such as food waste, manure, animal faeces or crop waste is filled into the double-walled, insulated drum. Thanks to the low filling height and optional feeding aids, filling is also easy and safe for employees.

Filling

Ventilation and rotation

The control system automatically regulates the rotation speed, aeration, temperature and humidity to optimise biodegradation. Sensors continuously record all parameters, creating an intelligent, closed cycle.

Rotation

Hygienisation and thermocomposting

Rotation and exothermic microorganisms ensure even mixing. Temperatures above 65 °C kill pathogens, germs and weed seeds and ensure hygienisation in accordance with EU compost regulations.

Composting

Maturation and stabilisation

IOver the course of the 12 to 16-day cycle, the material stabilises: the organic mass loses volume, becomes looser and mineralised. Odours are significantly reduced by the closed system and an optional biofilter.

Maturation

Automatic unloading and utilisation

At the end of the cycle, the high-quality compost is automatically discharged in the unloading area. The nutrient-rich humus can be used directly to improve the soil or as a natural fertiliser - without the need for post-composting.
